When I first start up the dakota and turn on the air conditioner, it blows cold air and seems fine. After about 10-15 minutes after the truck gets warmed up, the compressor for the air kicks off. This repeats everytime. Any suggestions?

Message: I would hook up my Manifold Gauges to make sure it's got enough Freon. Even if it is low, it should come back on, then cut right back off every few minutes. After it cuts off, you could unplug the low pressure switch and use a jumper wire in the socket of the plug to bypass it. If it comes on, you have a bad switch (assuming you have enough Freon pressure)If it does not, I would try the A/C relay (In the box near the battery) If its neither, It could be your switch inside. Good Luck
