Hi, I have a 95 dakota with a 5.2lt v-8 and a manual trans. I dont think the truck ever did this before, but should the idle work like this? There is no codes set off first off. When I drive the truck at 50-60 mph for about 15 minutes when I come to a stop the idle likes to stay at about 800- 1000 rpm and not come down. If I let the truck idle for about 5 minutes it will start to go from 575 - 700 rpm and then level off at about 600 rpm. Now if I drive truck around town and never go on thruway this will never happen. Any thoughts or should this work like this? Thanks.
