Message: I beleive there is a tube with an o-ring that goes in there and is retained with a bolt then you slide the hose over that tube and use a hose clamp to hold in.

Message: Pickup a new tube &make sure it hs the o-ring on it. after 9 years the thin metal of the tube will more than likely break when you try to remove it from the old pump. Its cheap insurance to replace the tube . like the guys who changed the older pumps and didnt replace the bypass hose and paid for it later when it split on the road. Trust me just replace the tube and lube the o-ring before you slide it in
