Subject: BRAKES IP: Logged
Message: I have 33,000 miles and need new rotors and pads and wanted to upgrade? I was thinking of Brembo or EBC and wanted your guys opinions Are they worth the money or someone out there has a better idea I am all ears!

Message: You'll have a tough time finding rotors that actually perform better than stock replacements. Don't waste tout money there.
Proper pads is where you'll really pick up improvements. I installed Hawk SUV pads. Better than stock, but they don't really impress me. I'v also used Performance Friction carbon fiber. Again, better than stock but nothing to write home about. And cheaper than the Hawk pads.
I'm thinking of trying a Porterfield pad next.

Message: I've got slotted rotors from Power Slot on the front with ceramic pads from Akebono and they've been well worth the money (they're not much more expensive than stock).
