My wife and I went to Walmart this afternoon and I decided to take my R/T. It was sunny and nice when we left, but a storm came up really fast. While we were inside, it hit. I'm telling you, guys, I have NEVER seen or HEARD anything like it before. The noise was deafening and I was scared. I was not about to stay in the middle of Walmart with that much wind, rain and hail. I grabbed my wife's hand and headed for the door. I knew I couldn't go outside, but I would if the roof started coming down. The wind was blowing the golf ball size hail twenty feet into the store. When it was over, we all went outside. Well, you can imagine what that size of hail does to a vehicle. It even punctured my tonneau cover. Well, tomorrow it's off to the body shop for an estimate and call the insurance agent. You know, the sad thing is, I usually don't take it out when it looks like it's going to storm bad. Boy, did I misjudge that one.

sorry about your luck. Here in Georgia we've seen a rash of storms this year many including hail and tornados. Thankfully my house hasn't been hit with large hail or a tornado. The last round was close though, only about 2 miles point-to-point from my house to wear the tornado touched down.

Over the hill, some times you think you're doing the right thing then bam! Hopefully the body shop can fix it correctly.

Well, the estimate was $2800.00 for the body work and, then I will need a new tonneau cover. It will take a new hood, and he's going to pop the dents out of the fenders and roof. Then the cab will get a new paint job. Damn, the truck was perfect and all original before the damage - but it is just a truck - a truck my wife says I love more than her. Oh well, I've known the body shop owner and his son for over 30 years and they do excellent work.

It all has to be body shop work?
Most hall damage is repaired with pdr.(Pantless dent repair) heve you cheked with some one like Dent wizerd??
