It idles perfectly when in park, but not so smoothly in drive. I can feel the uneven idle, but the tach stays constant. Is this just the horses trying to get out, or is there something else going on with the idle? Thanks.

I think mabey you lost a liter and it is causing your problems. This is a rare problem and you should get the dealer to look at it for you ASAP;)

They must have put a Ford engine in there. (hehehe) I bet you did not even notice a diffence because they both look and sound the same. Ask dodge you want the 4.7 back.

My new 4.7 does the same thing. I assume its "normal". Its not a bad rumble, but its not as smoothe as say a nice compact 4 cylynder...but then again who wants that???
