Subject: K&N filter system IP: Logged
Message: I live in Mn and was wondering if anyone else that lives where it gets cold if they take out the filter system in the winter or do you leave it in all year round because I put the box back in my truck. replys are wanted thanks andy

Message: That may be true but when where talkin -20 degrees air temp with a -50to-60 degrees w/ windchill its not the best thing for an engine

Windchill is only for HUMAN skin it has no effect on metal, water, or other inanimate objects.Only air temp has effect on cold air intakes, windchill means nothing.
