Message: The airbag light on my instrument cluster occasionally comes on and stays on.......after i shut the truck off for several minutes and restart the light will shut off and stay off...this happens about every 4-5 times i start the truck.....i know there is a sensor in the pass seat...but it should not keep the light on...this happens when there is someone in the pass seat and also when i am by myself. anyone had any problems such as mine???? any insight would be very much appreciated!

Message: if you follow the manuel, remove the air bag as instructed, it is the "right" thing to do. this method was told to me by a "repairman" on the end of the assembly line at the dakota plant in warren michigan.it is not an uncommon problem. going to the "stealership" and paying $100 per hour is a "moron" thing to do. know what you are doing, or saying.

Message: My air bag light came on one day after I had closed the glove box door. Was it a coincidence? It is still on. Have not had time to get to dealer yet
