This board has been helpful in the past, so I'm hoping you can help me again. My wife drove her van home the other day with almost no power steering, because of a torn hose. I replaced the hose, and filled the system. the system is also bled. My problem is that the front end now vibrates when you turn the wheel hard either way. The pump also whines a little, because of running it dry. Any ideas on what is causing this vibration?

Time for a pump replacement. Running them dry kills them.

I'm thinking its the rack and pinion is going bad that's why it blew the power steering hose in the first place, but that's just my opinion.
