Message: was lookin to get a fullsize truck but if a dakota can handle plowing and hawling would concider getting them instead.... can this mid size work like a full size without turning to crap ?????

Message: Depends what you want to haul? in bed? or towing a trailer?
Dakota's can tow over 6000 lbs, new 08s have more powerful V8 than older ones. Hauling in bed is a less than full size.
Plows? Several people here have plows on their dakotas.
also keep in mind the cab size, if you need to take more than 2 people with you.

Message: Been pulling about 6000 with mine for 8 years - no trouble related to that or the 7 1/2' regular duty plow. Check specific years and models on the Fisher web site to see what size plow it will handle. Cranking up the torsion bars will help carry the plow.
