1. If you are losing money on a vehicle, wouldn't cutting that vehicle make you stop losing money on it?
2.Smart car people have got them in this mess. That is why they are losing money now. Smart business people can make them make money. It is, after all, a business.
So I think the Chrysler group is taking the right direction.

They tried it with the Plymouth brand.
The company is still bleeding money.
They need someone with a bit of foresight.
They need better exterior designers.
They need to quit changing what works.
2005 and later Dakota is an example. Dakota sales fair but not brisk enough, so they redesigned the exterior and OMG guess what happened. Sales hit the floor.

yeah, i've about had it with these ignorant copy & paste fools who are probably coming from dakota-durango.com since they always seem to refer to it in all their posts. i don't know what those idiots are thinking, nor do i care to know. they just need to contribute positively or go the hell back where they came from. i'm sure there are plenty of other "FREE" forums out there where they can spread their stupidity around besides here.

The copy and paste fools are Amsoil fans and dealers that are pissed because the Amsoil sponsor left this site. They originated on this site and not dakota-durango.com. Now they are just being spiteful and malicious. What they don't know is that they are turning off a lot of potential customers.

you are right about turning off customers. when all this crap started i emailed Steve/ Amsoil sponsor about the post possibly driving customers away. not much can be done unless Mark requires user registration(which i doubt this software can support).
i for one will never try Amsoil because of all this crap.

i just purchased a dodge dakota with a 4.7 v8 4wheel drive,and the towing package. through friends that have dakota's like mine , the dodge dakota seems to be a solid truck other then the black junk the front brakes deposit on the front wheels, but i knew that before i bought the truck. i need to find out as much about this truck as possible for repair purposes should it break down. its a 04 with 45,000. on it.
i looked at the new dodge dakota's and sadly i must admit the fenders flare out too much that its ugly now compared to the slim fender flare style.
