Message: I love my 2001 CC Dakota, but am I the only one that feels every bump in the road. When I hit a bump going highway speeds (65 mph), sometimes the truck feels like it jumps to the right or left about a foot. Let me know. thanks

Message: Mine used to do that when I first got it. I checked the air pressure in the tires. They were all at 40 psi. Dropped them to 35 and the ride improved tremendously.
Also, you might want to check the front end. You might have something bent in the suspension.

Message: I would replace the shocks with a quality brand. From what I hear the shocks that come stock on our Dak's SUCK. The first ting I did when I bought my 4x4 was to put on a set of Rancho 9000's and it made a huge diff. in the ride
just my $.02

Message: How much do Rancho 9000's cost and who actually makes them?
I'm on a roll at the dealer, maybe I can convince them to change mine under warranty claiming "Customer Satisfaction"!
