Message: You could be right about that Kowalski. I liked Edward's too. Ron Paul is pretty cool. It's not looking good for him, but at least he was for the legalization of pot.
I'm more terrified of Romney than Huckabee. I think your on the east coast and believe me, they don't have much of a presence there, yet. If you saw the fanaticism with which these mormons live their lives, you'd be scared too. They have massive amounts of money and will most likely be the next to start a religious war on the world. They own a TV station and lots of Utah. They even give themselves false importance by calling the leaders "apostles" and saying that the president of mormons is in contact with god. Anyone who thinks they have a special relationship with god that allows them to "guide" an entire religion is harkening to the days of kings and pharohs. It's quite disturbing the amount of brainwashing going on in their church. If you don't know the story of the mormons, you should look in to it. It just might scare you too.

Message:
The world's problems are from a corporate overthrow of the US government ruining the quality of life in USA by robbing everyone by taking advantage of things people need to function in the society. Monopoly is the only way they can do it.
Citizens are feeding the monster by investing in the stocks. There are other ways to invest without feeding the beast that is robbing the very ones investing in it.
Everyone that doesn't speak out about the diminished quality of life is to blame for the low quality society we all create, not a religion.
We can get our nation back from the corruption and repression any time we want.
It's a balance of power. Until people revolt against it, the people are stating by their own apathy that they consent to it, and it isn't too bad to tolerate....yet.
Wong made good points. The radio stations in USA are all ruined by the greedy corporations.
If it wasn't corruption, the government and FCC would allow auntrapeneurs to start their own stations with music veriety and unbias news reports, as an escape from evil corporate stations that play the same 30 songs every day for years like some kind of communist dictatorship society right out of George Orwell's 1984 (2004 would have nailed the date right). With the sensoring of the news to conceal the truth, and only 20 choices of restaraunts, 20 choices of supermarkets, 20 choices of songs on the radio to choose from, etc, that are all owned by corporations under the government's dictation. Give anyone an inch and they will take a mile.
The US government was constitutionaly not allowed to have too much power, so the people can adjust it when needed. That is no more, and dictatorship here we come.
All I hear on the off topic board is "FüCK YOU", g a y talk, and a skitzo plotting to kill his ex wife with a golf club in 2008.

Message: Onehotkadota - I hear you. We've already had it with Romney here in MA, we know he's the king of the flip floppers. A couple other things about Mormons - they're supposed to give a tithe (10%) of what they make to the church, and try to only do business with other Mormons.
dodger - The FCC will allow entrepreneurs to start their own radio stations, you are mistaken to think there is a rule against that. I would welcome more unbiased news reporting, it is true that conglomerates have gobbled up much of the smaller outlets and gained a lot of control over content - and that should have been better regulated by government. And the government itself is guilty of disguising press releases as news reports. But I don't think we can get the nation back on track until there is a large grass roots movement against the way politicians are funded by business interests.
Some of what you are complaining about on the off topic board can also be traced to "STS". I've already pointed out his involvement with the last 2 items (caught him posting as the golf club guy, and called him on it at the time); and although pretty illiterate - with his recent cut and paste job about Hitler on both boards, I wouldn't be surprised if he was behind at least some of the cut and paste nonsense as well. He can obviously cut and paste better than he can spell or think.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way

Message: Yea, the people do still have the power to bring back a nation with more veriety in life.
I guess one shouldn't complain about the way things are, because democraticly, they are that way because the people let it, which means the majority like it, and the majority rules.
It is good for someone who sees that there is something better and points it out and voices it, just in case the majority didn't realize what was going on, so the majority can make an accurate and educated decision on an issue.
Really, any form of government is at the mercy of the masses. It stands if the masses accept it, and it gets knocked down if the masses don't like it.
Power, really, comes from masses. Not money. The outnumbered lose, even if their morals are more healthy to life.
(If everyone wanted to kill eachother, then, being the majority in mass numbers, they would win).
I noticed someone teasing the Bill Kalvi golf club freak and it made him think it was someone else teasing him. BK does ask for trouble the way he was making up all kinds of fantasies about people and wouldn't stop after years of people telling him to. Now it got Billy divorced and back in the cukoo hospitals on lots of medication. Bill still didn't admit his fantasies aren't reality.
What is the deal with the Amsoil? They are fighting over something but I can't tell what amongst all the bickering. Did someone have a bad experience with it and blow their motor or something? Why would anyone be so angry at the oil? It seems like good oil alternative to me, especialy with the fossil fuel crisis these days.
