Subject: turn signals quite working IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99 2wheel drive regular cab with a 3.9 lately I when i turn on the turn signals the will blink for a little bit and then they will just stayon solid and if I turn it off and then back on it will work again any ideas on what this is? thanks

Message: Hmm, my 1999 Dakota had the same problem recently. It turned out to be the turn signal flasher. I got one at Autozone for like eight dollars and it fixed the problem.

Message: as ewraven said, it's most likely the flasher. it's a big relay in the fuse panel inside the truck.
most are silver or gray but some are black. some round and some square.
i don't recall them being that expensive though.
