Subject: Cleaning?? IP: Logged
Message: Alright guys heres my question. How do you clean the inside of a throttle bodiy?? What chemicals could you use or are there cleaners out there? (I dont think Fuel injector cleaner helps any but correct me if im wrong) The reason I ask is because one time when I was 4 wheelin I herd a hiss noise coming from under the hood. The plastic piece that covers up the top of the tb (from the airbox) had gotten a little crooked and wasnt seated all the way. Easy to fix but I wasnt sure how long it was going on. So today I took off the air intake and everything so i could look down the tb. Some dirt that looks like its mixed with some oil or something in there. How could I clean this?? Do I have to take it all apart?? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
