After work today I'm going to the dealer to see if they'll take my leased s10 extreme (8 months left)off my hands straight up, I really want to get in on these awesome deals the only thing is I wanted an intense blue color but they don't offer it for the next years model and I would like to get a fully loaded one the way I want it and I don't know of any 01's in my area. but that's ok the silver is starting to grow on me. Do you guys think they'll take the lease off my hands?
It's a 99 s10 (POS) extreme purchased/leased on 7/23/99 and have 29k miles on it a little over but not to bad I'd say 80% of the miles are highway, there's no damage to it, it's never been smoked in, oh yea its a 4cyl reg. cab 5spd. with tonneau cover and bug deflector, the truck is d@mn near immaculate.

Before you sign anything make sure you add up the numbers. It might just be worth your while to pay off the lease now rather than wait the eight months. Dealers will probobly be more eager to deal with you in march or april.

Well everyone I went down to the dealer last night and they said that I would have to pay off my lease (159/month) and I think with the interest rate pay off would be 1000-1200, and I might have to pay an early termination fee ($600-800) I had priced out a $27,000 sticker price Dakota CC, and sine I'm eligible for the supplier discount, I get 1% under invoice, I think there invoice number is a little high. after my discount the truck was $25,000. That's really not sh!t for a discount when the sticker price is that high, oh well I'll wait a couple more months and maybe it will work out better. By the way Dr.Q thanks for the piece of advice.
