Subject: RW Speed Sensor has No Power
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 01 QC Dakota 5 spd. manual. Driving it one day and came up to a stop sign, Applied the brakes and the ABS Pump activated and would no shut off until I unplug it.(even when the truck is shut off, key removed). I have 4 wheel ABS. Right after this happened the Speedometer stopped working and the truck started stalling at every stop i came too. It would start right back up and Idle all day long as long as its not moving. I have replaced the rear wheel speed sensor on the differential and still the same thing. I checked the plug and wiring haeness for burned contacts and breaks and all look good, but plug has no power to it when the truck is running. Any Idea what the problem may be or what should I test next? Right now the pump is unplugged. Before any of this happened the truck ran great Idled smooth, brakes and Speedometer worked fine.
