I'm looking to put a Hurst shifter in my 2000
3.9 5spd but I'm not sure which tranny I have.
I've seen different opinions on this site. Does
anyone have the lowdown on this?Thanks

If you look on the "options" page (the one that was on the window when you bout it) it sould tell you. Also you can contact the neerest DODGE dealer ship and give them your vin # and they can give you a print out of the options on the truck. As for the shifter, I am thinking about getting one myself. Putting them in is no harder than replaceing the stock one. Since yours is much newer than mine I am not sure how to get down to the shift tower in your truck. Good luck though

2000 and newer V6 5spd all used the NV3500 tranny. The 4 banger uses the NV1500 in 2000 and newer
