i just saw the 08 dak in person for the first time today.
and i must say that i liked it. it looks a lot more meaner than the old daks.

I say the 08's are better looking than the 05 to 07 only. I think the 04 is nicest.

the 05-07 i didnt like. i own a 99. so i obviously like those models.
the new ones seem to have a bigger grill.
i dont know why everyone is all upset about the 08. i could understand about the 05-07.
the one i saw was a slt so it had the chrome trim. i think it looked sharp.

I like the 08's as well. Plus, you get the better 4.7 too. Although I
know I'm not getting rid of my '97 any time soon.

I had a black '97 CC for 10 years and 172k miles, and it was the most reliable and trouble-free vehicle I've ever owned. It was a very good looking truck, and luckily it lasted until the 05-07 design got replaced by the 08. I recently traded it on an 08, and while there are a few design elements I don't particularly like, I think it's a good looking truck. It has a much better stance than my old '97 had for one thing. I posted a link to pictures in another thread on here somewhere.
