Geez, if you need 4 doors, get a car. The average trunk will hold more than that short box.

Message: Here are the dimensions on an 07 Dakota QC box (should be same as 04, I hope). Plenty of room for 5 people in the cab, a 50 Gal water heater from Home Depot in the box and still close the tailgate.
Box/Cargo Height 17.6
Box/Cargo Length 64.9
Box/Cargo Width (Wheel)45.2
Box/Cargo Width (Wall)59.6

Message: Hi guys I just wanted to chime in. Tundras comment about the 4 doors, I have had a few trucks that I've seen and yes they make you wonder. Why not just buy an SUV or car? Example, I see one every day,
4 doors little bed and he has a fiber glass cap over the bed. I'll bet with the back seat down in an SUV he would have more cargo room. Happy Holidays

Message: Hey, thanks for getting us QC owners corrected. Now that I have this information I'm going out today and trading the POS in for an Accord!!! I should hurry and avoid the rush due to the great number of QC owners out there. Again, thank you for opening my eyes. I guess my dog will fit in the trunk!!! Freedom of choice is a good thing.

Message: QC man - don't forget about gas cans sloshing fuel all over the place, and wet bags of mulch, topsoil, etc. Those would be great in the trunk as well.
(although I must admit the QC bed is too small for my needs, and it does look a little disproportionate - but a short truck bed is much better than no truck bed regardless)
