Message: It's the one on the passenger side, after the cat.
From another thread:
Bank: 1 = DS, 2 = PS
Position: 1 = pre cat, 2 = post cat
My '00 4.7 had the exact same error. That sensor is not too hard to get to. I borrowed the tool from Autozone, did the job in just a few minutes.

LEFT - UPSTREAM of cat = BANK 1/NUMBER 1
LEFT - DOWNSTREAM of cat = BANK 1/NUMBER 2
RIGHT - UPSTREAM of cat = BANK 2/NUMBER 1
RIGHT - DOWNSTREAM of cat = BANK 2/NUMBER 2
For those who don't know, left and right are relative to the centerline of the vehicle to the driver when seated in the driver's seat.
Driver's side and passenger side directions don't work universally (think right-hand-drive vehicles).
That's why LEFT and RIGHT are used.

Message: Marv,
Thanks for posting that. I thought of it AFTER I had already pressed the POST button and walked away from the computer!
