 Subject: Smog Test

My '01 4.7 Auto Q-cab is due for it's first smog test. It has 108K miles. What do I need to check, (did the normal major tune-up) befor taking it in. It does have the low idle problem, no codes and no other problems. Thanks:

Change the oil. Before pulling it in for the test, let the motor reach temp. Get it as hot as possible. If you haven't changed the cat, you may get rejected for that. I got rejected at about 100,000 miles. BTW, I live in SoCal. Good luck.

What a socialist state!! So even if you drive '95 its still got to meet levels emissions right? And if you don't then what?
