Subject: Bosch Plugs IP: Logged
Message: I just replaced my old plugs with Bosch Platinums on my '95 5.2L Dakota. I had to take my truck into the dealer for some engine troubles that I was having. It turned out to be nothing, but a cashed thermostat. Anyway, I told them that I'd just replaced the plugs w/ the bosch's. He said that bosch's don't work well in dodge products because of the heat range. I was just wondering if that's a load of crap or if there is some truth to it. I would apperciate any comments on the subject. Thanks

Message: Hey Duncan, I used to work at a 5 star Chrysler dealer and when a car came in cuz it wasnt running right half of the time it was because of the plugs, whatever you do don't use platinums. the guy was right chrysler engines don't like them. stick with the stock plugs, I'm sure someone might tell you of a better plug to use. sorry I couldn't help ya there.
