 Subject: Moog ball joint boot slipage

I just installed Moog ball joints on my Dakota and noticed that at some point the boot slipped under the brass fitting on one side of the fat portion of the upper (possible due to pressure caused by too much grease). Has anyone experienced this problem or knows of a good solution or replacement ring?

If you over greased it so as to have grease squeezing out, try squeezing it with your hand to lower pressure, clean it off best you can and see if you can reposition it.
