Message: Where is the blower motor on a 95 Dakota? I don't want to start tearing the hole dash off if I don't have to. The blower stopped working on low speeds a few months ago, now no speeds work and with winter coming its tough to defrost the windsheild with no blower.
thanks,
LWR

Message: Are you sure it is the motor? My dad has had a few switches go out on his. Sounds like yours. Certain speeds wouldn't work and then none would work. If it was the blower motor it shouldn't do that since it is just an electric motor turning at a different speed because of higher/lower voltage being sent to it. I'm not familiar with the switch in your truck, but you should still be able to test it with a multimeter. It should have very low resistance when it is on. If it is burned up the resistance will be very high, if it registers at all indicating an open condition. You may even see scorch marks on the side of it. My dads always were melted a little. Hope this helps.

Message: Have 1990 Dakota and switch is fried, still barely works but, on its' last legs. Any suggestions on where to get a replacement with price estimate? Just the switch and not the control unit.
Please advise.
Thank you.

Message: have you tryed checking the conection on the fire wall to your heater? it is on the pasenger side. Your heater motor is behind tyour glove box. i don't think you have to take the dash apart too much to ascces it.
