so i have a chance to buy a graphite grey 01 dakota 4.7 ext cab 5 speed manual. now i own a 92 dakota. it was a 6 manual. she was decent. but not that impressive. what is her 0-60 time. quarter mile and so on. love the truck just would like the specs on her first

The 4.7 has 235 hp and 295 trq. I have an 03 4.7 ext cab 5 speed manual and love it. It should run the quarter mile in the mid 15s.

Which gear ratio, 3.55 or 3.92 ? The 4.7 manuals with 3.92 gears are as quick as the R/T.

hey when did they make a 92 6 manual not to be smar!ass overlap your key typing? go for the 01 use the 92 for beater grocery runner unless its in good shape

Kowalski,I guess I had a brain fart not thinking about engine could thought I read it a little slower though way its worded I guess and yes there were a lot of V-6's with a 5 speed manual trans in 92' now makes sense I was thinking he was saying a 6 speed manual like some GM's ?? thats were my insane mine was like my freinds 02' corvette LOL.....
