 Subject: A-833 4-speed question

A friend of mine just picked up an A-833 to go behind a 500+ inch stroker engine in his 1969 Charger R/T. He asked me if he could change the factory 23 spline input shaft over to the heavier 10 spline without changing a lot of stuff inside the tranny. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link. I did some other research on the net and they say if you want to change the input shaft then you have to make changes inside also.
