 Subject: Steering problem due to R&P bushings?

Hey Guys,
The steering on my '00 dakota club cab has been very "watery." I have all new shocks and tires. My Koda's handling used to feel pretty "sporty" but now it feels like I'm driving a minivan!
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? A friend suggested it could be the R&P bushings is this possible/likely??
