If anyone is interested on my "ongoing" saga with Dodge... then check out my website DarkFury's Pimptopia.
Basically, they are trying to screw me over with my paint coming off on my 99 Dak... and there was a little issue with the engine as well (turns out that it was in the "corporate database" as restricted - ineligible for any warrantys)

Thanks for the phone number. I have a 99 dakota and put a KN Gen II on. When I took off the orginal filtewr box the plastic bag that the FILTER came in was laying on top of the filter. The filter was distortied and coming apart. I was only getting 13 MPH on the highway. The plastic baf was halfway into the tube to the intake.
