2001, the passenger power window does not work all the time, how hard is it to replace the regulator @ $100?

Never did one on a Dakota, only the Mrs Intrepid, wasn't really much to it once you get the door panel apart.

Does it matter which switch you use? If it works from one side but not the other I'd look at a cracked circuit board beneath the switch.

I have the same results from both switches, when it does work you can hear it strain and see it slowly moving, Ive had to pull it up to help close it the last time.
Is there special tools I need to remove the door panel and snap it back it place.
Any how to manuals with pictures?
