glad you got it working again. yeah we could make it here but then it would cost $32.95. workers here get paid a little more than $1.50 an hr.

or you could probably get better resistors from an electrical supply store and change them out for about $5.00.

I replaced my heater core when my heat went out, and I still have no heat. Air blows through my vents so they aren't clogged.
Why am I still not getting heat with a new heater core?

Before you changed your heater core, did you put any stop leak additives in ?? If you did might of plugged new core up or if it has not been flushed at proper maintenance schedule might have rust deposits or scales or something restricting flow like worn water pump, stuck thermostat, collasped hose(s)radiator plugged or internal head gasket leaking coolant level not up to level or bad core when replaced endless answers here... check all those listed see what you come up with might of kinked heater core copper line as well if you weren't paying attention installing it seen many of times all to well

jeremy, the fan only working on high is the blower motor resistor pack. the water on the floor could be from the a/c not draining properly.

what year truck? older daks had the resistor pack mounted under the hood on the passenger side. later models it's inside the cab on the passenger side i think behind or below the glovebox.

if it's the a/c drain, the passenger side should be the only wet place. if both sides are wet i'd lean more towards a leaking winsheild.

check the a/c drain underhood on the passenger side. try blowing it out with a little air. your blower resistor pack should be inside as i mentioned above.

Like daddio is saying clean that drain tube out with compressed air and take a toothbrush with a soapy solution swab it around inside the drain tube to free it up thats why you end up with moisture in your front floor common problem if moisture collects long enough it will rot core out and let go
