i know im goin to get alot of heat for this but will toyota tacoma or tundra rims fit on a dakota. the toyotas bolt patter is 6x5.5 and the dakotas is 6x4.5 so. any ideas

Nah that patter won't fit. But the Nissan Pathfinder and Frontier have the 6x4.5 pattern.
If you have money, the Viper rims also have a 6x4.5 pattern. You can only get the front ones which are 18"x10" because the rear Viper rims are 19"x13" which is too wide.

Put those Toyota rims on a Chevy or Ford - they'll fit those. Why would you even ask if they'd fit, knowing they are the wrong size ?

you can get wheel adapters that go from 6x4.5 to 6x5.5,if you really want yota rims. i found that out the hard way when i got the wrong one for my 97
