Subject: dakota with 408 stroker engine for sale!

I have a 2001 dodge dakota with a 408 stoker, walled off with 3000 watts and with 1500 it hit 153db, it has 20's with 35 series rubber and a 3/5 drop, it has a shaved gastank lid and tailgate with a welded up rollpan. I have a custom glassed console with a 5inch lcd and ps2. I have won one trophy with it and have been to one car show. The engine has about 600hp and i don't have nitrous yet but it can hold a 400 shot. This dakota is bad a$$ and it can run in the 9's in a 1000ft. I guess if someone had big enough nuts you can put a ford 9in and full blown slicks with a 400 shot. I have pics but not sure if i can put them on here. The engine is a stock block and fully forged, arped, and it has everything the best i could possibly get. I'll take reasonably offers starting over 10 grand. I have that in the engine and 727 full manual tranny. It could use a good paintjob, one new 20in tire and i believe thats it. After that it would be a show quality truck and a weekend dragger. It has a ramair hood too and if i type whats in the engine i would be all night...trust me on that...lol. I do have $6000 in reciepts in the system and 8 or 9 pages in bills on the engine.

It's got wiper blades on it now. The build took 2 years. I kinda robbed the blades for another ride. What do blades cost these days? 10 or 20 bucks...if you want the truck i'll take 25 off the price...lol. Make sure you look at all the different wires going into that fuse box lid if you want i'll take the box out and put them underneath the box insted of running them through the lid...sound better?

Ft Smith, no kidding? I too am from Ft Smith. I've been in Seattle the last 10 years tho. I worked at MacSteel and have a black/purple Dakota I used to compete with in IASCA and USAC. Maybe you know the truck? Picture in my profiel, but it did have a snugtop on it before.

Well, I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone at Mac Steel that actually likes it there. I worked in Shipping for 8 years so worked more Sundays than the people in the Mill, Melt Shop or Casting Dept. I was Judy Franklin's Shipper for most of my 8 years. I still talk to her regularly.

What do you do out there? I bet you started in Heat Treat....am I right?
