 Subject: how do i get the trans filter off?

I have 2001 dakota slt 4x4 3.9l automatic. i got mt transmission pan off with no problem. i am having trouble getting the filter off. There are 2 screws or bolts but it is hard for me to see because my saftey glasses fog up and the fluid drips occasionaly so i cant risk taking them off. Does anyone know what dodge uses to secure the filters. It looks like an alan or star.

Fluid should pretty well stop dripping by morning. wash your safety glasses in liquid dish soap and water. should take care of the fogging.

It is probably a star. My 95 was that way, I have not replaced the filter on my 02 yet.
