Hey Folks,
I've currently got a 97 Dakota, CC, 4x4, Manual with the 3.7.
Im looking at getting a 2004 Quad cab for the four doors(I cant stand the 2005+body style). Does anyone know if the 2004 V8 Quad Cabs came with a manual Transmission?

yep, the 4.7 V8 had the 5 speed manual option in 2004

Actually, the manual tranny is standard. The auto is optional. However, most dealers stocked their lots with auto equipped trucks so manuals were hard to find. (And at $1000 more it makes their cash flow better.)

You sure that you have a 3.7 in that thing? They did not put 3.7s in Dakotas until '04. I would say that you have the 3.9 in it.
Finally... a V8. '01 Dodge Dakota RC, 4.7, 5-speed, 3.92 LSD. = R/T Killer.
