Message: I purchased a set of these things, with the fancy in cab control. Oh it looks good and all that (on paper and the fancy ad), but PLEASE don't waste your money, time, or effort. I have been running on em for a month now. Switched from KYB, I'm going back. Worst damn shock, next to the reflex's I have had on this truck. What can you say, you win some, lose some.
IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT, in this case anyway.

Message: I put Edelbrock IAS Performer Series shocks on my 2wd and love 'em!! Pretty firm, but soak up big bumps beautifully!
Your truck looks pretty beefy! They have off-roading shocks too with prolly the same performance.

Message: Well, The in cab remote works off of a cheap air compressor, plastic fittings. Could not find any leaks, but could not ever keep the pressure up, ole soap and water from front to back, so my guess air leaked off inside shock. So I stuck the manual knobs back in. 9 position shocks, and really seem like either too soft or too soft to me from 1 to 9. not much of a change. Granted I do a lot of highway miles, so I like em stiff, but really seems to bottom out when you hit the bumps. Never has done that in the past at highway speeds.
Rancho does have good shocks, just not this line of em.

Message: I had Reflex, they were OK at first, then were crap w/in a few years.
Now I have KYB Gas adjust, and they're great!
Handles much better, dampening better, etc.
