Message: There is not a set number of turns
Its different from truck to truck
You'll just have too put it on the best you can and then go get a front end alignment.

Message: When I did mine it was 18 for the old one. I installed the new one the same number of turns.

Message: when you change your tierods ends just back off jam nut or mark where it is backoff jam nut just enough so you can to loosen tierod off put back on back to jam nut location tighten jamnut back and you should be close to where your alignment was and if road test feel if any pull or any issue related if you think your off then i would pay for it to be aligned back to specs.if you didn't have any wear on your tires usually you can follow this guidline i do and haven't had a problem
