Message: That sounds like a bad window regulator or power window motor. Or the regulator assembly might just be loose in the door. Remove the door panel and check that it is bolted in tightly and there are no obstructions in the widow track and that the regulator assembly is not binding anywhere. One way to check the regulator is to operate the window switch and smack the motor with a hammer-not too hard-If the window works the motor is shot and the motor/regulator assembly has to be replaced as a single unit.
Hope this helps. Let us know how it turns out.

Message: Window works fine when the door panel is off..... only has problems when both window seals are in contact with the window.... if i wet the seals the window will open fine .... its almost like the felt on the seals are somehow sticking to the window but the felt seems fine ........ maybe i just need to buy new seals or somehow lube them....

Message: Had a similar problem with my R/T driver's side window. Worked fine when it got wet in the rain too. Was considering replacing the motor/regulator and all track seals, but when I had the door panel off the last time, I sprayed everything (uppper & lower seals, track hardware) with a silicone spray. That was a year ago. So far, so good.

Message: The drivers power window will go up with the track seals but half way down the window comes out of the track seals. Window is difficult to push back down to realign in the track seals. Do I need to replace the track seals?
