Subject: Totaled update IP: Logged
Message: Hope this isn't a double post Again.
Claims Cut me a check for 8200 dollars
Needs Replaced,
Hood,
Both fenders,
Right Wheel well,
Maybe Stabalizer Bar.
Front Grill,and Bumper
Radiator,
Tie Rods and Ball Joints,Maybe Slight more suspension work.
Right shock Blew out Replacing Both Front with Rancho.
My buddy owns His own Auto Body and engine shop Getting that whole package for 7000 and change.
That saves me about 1100 Bucks.
Said he would paint the Rest of the truck for the extra Grand.This also includes airbag Units wich he says is the Easiest of all.They come in Units already to Hook up and mount in Proper area.
467 Dollars for Pssenger side.
700 Dallors Drivers side That is Units and Installed.
Headlight ex.
Hood Busted of my K&N Intake Will reinstall Factory for Now.
Though it woulda ripped the Throttle body of when that happened but didn't.
Shop is Sanding her down from Back doors all the way up.2 coats of Primer 5 coats of Grey Mettalic 2 coats of Clearcoat.
They had Front of truck removed Today when they Called me to Come see Estimate.Frame is in Perfect shape Level as New he Said.If he runs into more Problems on the Way he said I can Pay him Personaly Monthly Till paid off.
The truck stood up very well at 45 mph Impact he gave it thumbs up.He said if the van woulda been doing 45 also we would not of walked away.Dohhh I thought.lol

Message: I'm guessing you live in one of those states where even if an accident isn't your fault, YOUR insurance has to pay for it?
That sucks...around here (Ohio), if somebody causes a wreck, their insurance fixes it. And I believe you have the right to take it around and get estimates at body shops of your choice if you don't like the one they wish to deal with. Though the body shops don't always like this as it's sometimes difficult to get the payment out of the insurance company after they fix it...especially with the cheaper companies like Geico, SafeAuto, etc.
I'd say your truck did hold up pretty well...looks like you slammed em pretty dead on.
