Ok. I have a 1998 v6 Dak with an automatic. The knob is finally working it's way off and I want to replace it with an aftermarket one. The only thing is it has cruise. Can it be done?

Not to hi-jack the thread...but anyone change the Shift knob on a manual transmission? how do you get the OEM one off?

Mac, pop off the little plate with the shift pattern on it and remove the nut.
