Local muffler shop said they don't have a Dynomax Ultra-Flow model for 2000 Dakotas. Can I use the Universal fit 2.5in/2.5 out or am I better to get something for Gibson or Flowmaster designed for the 2000 model year?
Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Steve-go to Dynomax's web pages and get there phone number...call them ,they will tell you what will fit your truck.

PS-they do make a good muffler and they stand behind them.

I'm still waiting on my UltraFlow-SS Muffler to arrive. It's been on back order for several weeks now (brand new design - 1000cfm flow rating). P/N# 17234 - $200

There is a kit for the 4x2 1999+ Dakotas. Part number is 19325, if anyone's interested. Includes 3" pipes, the SuperTurbo muffler, and all the clamps needed for installation. Don't have a price yet, but I think Summit Racing carries them.
Anyone installed this? How much work is involved if I do it myself?
