No year Dakota had straight front axle that I
know of... I had a 90 and it even had rack
steering.
Maybe some *special* ordered Dakota's had them
but see no reason why anyone would want it.
Maybe early 4x4 Dakota's had them??

Nope, the 4x4 Dakota has always been IFS and didn't receive Rack & Pinion until 2000.
