Subject: R&R fuel injectors, 4.7 IP: Logged
Message: I'm throwing code P0203, and now P0174, which is inj #3 open, and then the lean bank b/c the O2 sensor only does the engine as a whole, so it leans out the other cylinders too much, etc.
I have the CD manual, have read it, and I am a good wrench, mostly a DIY'r.
If you have replaced the fuel injectors, what can I get away with and still do it right? for now, I'm just replacing one injector.
I think I have to depressurize the fuel rail, then, do I have to get a jumper wire to each injector also? I know I have to pull the whole rail at once, and just put them back after I replace the faulty one, right?
If you have done this, any tips would be appreciated.
