hey everyone.
I have a 99 dakota 5.2, manual. Im wanting to replace my seats. I have the buckets right now with the center console. I found some with the buckets and 3rd seat/console. Will this fit into my dakota? also- right now I have manual seats.... these new ones are power. Is there a harness underneith the carpet?

Thanks guys.

You'll find no harness under the carpet of your
99, Andy. It will be an easy add-on tho. All
you'll need is one + HOT and one - GROUND
number 10 wire pair fused at 30 amps. It's best
to add a - GROUND wire. The seat motor/s draw a
lot of current. I would not trust just a body
ground using the hold down bolts.

If your new seats came out of a Dakota, I would
bet they will fit your 99..

Let us know how you make out...

If there anywhere I can get a trim kit for the shifter so it doesnt look like theres something missing? my existing console goes all the way up to the trim for the shifter, and I think its gonna look kinda goofy without it.

Thanks!!

The new seats should fit, I removed my bench seat and found a set of buckets with 3rd seat folding console out of a 98 and put in my 02, perfect fit.
