Also Since the New Dakota will be available next year. How is this going to affect parts that Dodge has been using that's made over seas?

Message: Always the same answer. Who ever will sell the parts the cheapest gets the bids. Quality is at the bottom of the list. My opinion.

Message: Simple question, Joe.C. Parts will come from
China!
Chrysler just signed a contract with some China
auto maker to supply them with small cars. You'll
see the junk in the lots in about 2.5 years.
Remember reading about Walmart might be selling
cars soon? Might happen yet... Their stores are
filled with junk from China now, why not cars
too?
Remember the Yugo?
Have a nice day guys... ;)

Message: I can only assume that in the next 20 something years, American industry will be a thing in the past. And that all thanks to; stricked govt' regulation, corporate greed, and also retail stores like Wal-mart who are nothing but profit hungry pigs and could not give a F%$# less about the middle class that depend on industries for a living.

The Yugo wasn't chinese. It was built in the former Yugoslavia by the Zastava Corporation. The cars are still being produced today, but are not for sale in the U.S.

Just after reading what RadioMan just said. It won't be long tell you can buy a piece of junk car staight out of you local Wal-Mart. So I guess as your waiting in line to get checked out, you can stay in your car with the radio going.
I used to live in a small town in East TN, we have a Wal-Mart supercenter that was pretty much a wast of money. I mean for a town with just Fifteen Thousand people. Why do you needs a supersized store???

Message: Yes, like Dan M posted. Daimler still has a 20 percent stake in Chrysler. As far as I know, current collaborations will continue to be produced.
The Chinese automobile company that Chrysler has teamed up with is called "Chery"... LOL
