Message: I have a 1994 Dakota that I need to change the transfer case in. I am hoping somebody on here can put something on paper so I can follow it step by step. I am mechanically inclined but being papralyzed from the chest down makes it a little hard to reach some areas.

Message: T4Mike....... I envy you taking on a project like this. I feel your going about this wrong though. No mater who tells you how to do it, there will be one or more steps left out. you need a book that has all steps without question. I suggest a factury repair manual. Great pictures in them on everything. Then if there's something you don't understand ask in here. The truck is to old to get a new factory manual. But eBay has a lot of them . just check for one for your truck till one shows up. I get all mone in there. mine cost about 25.00. If it's an emergency, pick up a Haynes at the parts store. Library should have books you can check out .
