Hello, I have a 2000 4.7 koda and lately the AC has been going out for short periods of time. It works ~85% of the time and then all the sudden it will stop blowing cool air and will instead blow warm/damp air??
Anyone know what's going on? How to remedy the problem??

Maybe low on freon . I know little about air but they can get low.
There are some very sharp guys in here . Someone wll tell you the real deal

sounds to me like an intermittent short to ground to the compressor. On the dryer, theres a pressure switch that sends a signal to the relay, and the relay sends a signal to the compressor to engage its clutch and obvious compress the r-134 into a high pressure gas. it sounds most likely to be a relay starting to go out, or a loose connector on the compressor, or dryer. If u got a test light (non self powered) you can most likely fix it yourself, but it def sounds like an electrical problem. good luck

Had a similar problem with my 98 a couple years ago. Turned out to be a bad relay. I simply switched it with the horn relay.

You not the only one. Mine stopped working yesterday and I've found some water where a wire plugs into the compressor.
Any recomendations?

Well the ole A/C is out again so its back to the shop. But I'm getting a switch on the compresser fixed, so that sould do the twick!
