Subject: IAC Motor in '01 dak?

does an '01 dak slt 4x4 3.9 have an Intake Air Control motor? my Haynes repair manual shows it in the electrical schematic but no where else, not even the index. is it the same thing as the IAC valve? i see nothing but sensors near the throttle body.

IAC is located on the rear of the TB. Idle Air Control Valve = IAC

Also known as AIS (Air Idle Speed) motor. It's a stepper motor with a pintle (plunger) that blocks off or opens up an air passage in the throttle body to change the idle mixture.
