Just in case you look here. I believe I have your fix . Can't list post where you posted.
Mine went screwy and I replaced the relays. Problems solved. There are 2 relays. One opens the locks and one closes them. one most likely has a busted toggle inside it causing it to bounce around. So if your going say over 15 MPH one relay is locking them and the other is shorted or vice versa. anyway it's causing them to jump back and forth. In my rig these relays are behind the ashtray.My post is refering to my Plymouth Mini Van, not my Dakota but same difference. Your relays may be located somewhere else.
