It depends on the type of driveshaft used. If using a standard driveshaft with a standard U-Joint at each end, the pinion angle should be parallel with the output shaft of the Trans/TC. The u-joint angles at each end of the driveshaft should be equal and opposite of each other.

If using a driveshaft with a constant velocity joint (i.e. a double carden or some other type) like a front drive shaft, the pinion angle is normally set 2 degrees lower then the angle of the main part of the driveshaft.
